Kate Middleton\u2019s annual Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey<\/a> has become a regular fixture on the royal calendar. Now in its fifth year running, the festive event has become a huge draw and often gets ample support from both the royal family and the Middletons. The Princess of Wales’s brother and sister-in-law, James Middleton<\/a> and Alizee Thevenet<\/a>, were among the many guests on hand for the joyful occasion.<\/p>\n

The couple arrive at Westminster Abbey.<\/p>\n

The French financial analyst looked chic as always in a beige and camel checkered suit by S\u00e9zane, a label that her sister-in-law happens to love as well<\/a>. The matching blazer and pants are still available to shop online:<\/p>\n

James, for his part, looked dapper in a long wool overcoat with a dark turtleneck underneath. The couple attended the Christmas carol service last year<\/a>, although they skipped the year prior when they welcomed their newborn son, Inigo<\/a>. Alizee also marked another royal family first this year: her Royal Ascot debut in June<\/a>. She joined mother-in-law Carole Middleton at the Ascot Racecourse, although James didn\u2019t attend that day.<\/p>\n

James appears to be wearing festive socks.<\/p>\n

James has always been a huge supporter of Kate and often speaks fondly of her<\/a>. The youngest of the three Middleton siblings recently told Country Life<\/a> magazine that his sister has a passion for beekeeping<\/a>, hinting that there might be a bit of sibling competition, but it\u2019s all in good fun.<\/p>\n

More than 1,600 people have been invited to the service, from community volunteers who have been invited for their social contributions to famous entertainers who will be featured during the production. For example, the show will include readings by British actors Kate Winslet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Hannah Waddingham.<\/p>\n

According to Kensington Palace, the service is intended to \u201cbring people together to celebrate love in all its forms\u2014whether it\u2019s love within families, through friendships, across communities, or even through powerful moments of connection with strangers. In a world that can often feel fragmented and disconnected, love is the force that reconnects us all\u2014spanning generations, communities, cultures, and faiths.\u201d<\/p>\n
