Police in Co Derry have arrested two people following the discovery of a haul of drugs during a property search. <\/p>\n

The raid was conducted this morning on December 5 in the Beraghvale area of Derry city. <\/p>\n

Officers from the Waterside District Support Team were supported by Tactical Support Group (TSG) officers during the operation.<\/p>\n

Chief Inspector Pearce said: \u201cA 26-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class B controlled drug, possession of a Class B controlled drug and possession of a Class C controlled drug.<\/p>\n

“He was also later arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A controlled drug.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe remains in custody at this time.<\/p>\n
