The list is widely acknowledged as the most authoritative survey of the country&#8217;s top schools and the definitive ranking of the nation&#8217;s top primary and secondary state and independent schools. Dylan Dellot, 37, had taken drugs and had been drinking for much of the day without sleep when he repeatedly punched Patrick Gibbons to the head, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/crime\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"knocking him unconsciousLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">knocking him unconscious<\/a>, outside the Black Horse pub shortly before Christmas last year. Mr Gibbons refused medical attention when he came around and was picked up by his family. The project is part of a wider \u00a330m investment in the town, and is scheduled for completion during 2026.
