Lifeshare, Manchester\u2019s oldest charity supporting people experiencing homelessness across Greater Manchester, is spreading festive cheer in a new way this Christmas. <\/p>\n

The charity has launched a limited-edition Lifeshare Christmas Apron, designed by Anthony, a former Lifeshare service user. <\/p>\n

Every penny of profit from the apron goes directly to helping people facing homelessness, food and fuel poverty, and isolation across the city.<\/p>\n

More than just a festive gift<\/p>\n

Priced at \u00a325, the apron is more than just a festive gift;<\/a> it\u2019s a way to stand with the people Lifeshare supports all year round. Buying one helps fund frontline support for rough sleepers, people in food or fuel poverty, and anyone who needs a warm space, a hot meal, or simply a friendly face over the festive period.<\/p>\n

\"Lifeshare\"Lifeshare at Christmas <\/p>\n

Lifeshare runs Manchester\u2019s only 10-day volunteer-led Christmas support service, where volunteers give up their own celebrations to bring warmth, dignity, and community to people who would otherwise be alone. Last year, the team served more than 3,000 meals, and with rising need throughout 2025, they expect that number to climb by over one thousand this Christmas.<\/a><\/p>\n

Matthew Johnson, chairman of Trustees at Lifeshare, said: \u201cOver Christmas our services are used by an astonishing number of people. Those needing support, compassion, food, warmth and clothing all come to us and will experience a Christmas as close as we can get to being with family.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnthony, who faced his own struggles and used our service regularly in the past, has designed this apron with love and care. Now, making a positive path for himself, he wanted to support us in fundraising and remind people what Christmas is really about.\u201d<\/p>\n

Donating the cost of a meal makes a direct and immediate difference<\/p>\n

With the cost of living still biting hard, more people are turning to Lifeshare every week. A single Christmas meal, including hot food, clothing, showers, and support, costs \u00a311.50 this year. <\/p>\n
