A crash at a Greater Manchester junction left a car on its side. Emergency services were called to a three-car collision at the junction of Cheetham Hill<\/a> Road and Tame Street in Dukinfield<\/a> at around 1pm on Friday (December 5).<\/p>\n

Pictures shared to social media<\/a> showed a white car turned on its side. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service<\/a> (GMFRS) said: “At shortly after 1pm on Friday (December 5) two fire engines from Stalybridge<\/a> and Ashton<\/a> fire stations were called to a crash involving three cars on High Street, Stalybridge.<\/p>\n

“Firefighters rescued one person from one of the vehicles before handing them to the care of colleagues from North West Ambulance Service<\/a>. Crews made the vehicles and area safe and were in attendance for around 40 minutes.”<\/p>\n

The road was closed for close to an hour as emergency services tended to the scene.
