{"id":615636,"date":"2025-12-06T09:26:13","date_gmt":"2025-12-06T09:26:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/615636\/"},"modified":"2025-12-06T09:26:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-06T09:26:13","slug":"hillcrest-academy-pupils-in-downham-market-visit-care-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/615636\/","title":{"rendered":"Hillcrest Academy pupils in Downham Market visit care home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  The pupils from Hillcrest Academy entertained the residents of Downham Grange Nursing Home with a range of Christmas carols and a crafts session.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The event was organised by deputy head Dave Martin, who said: &#8220;Opportunities like this remind us of what a school community is truly about.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;When children share their voices, their time and their creativity with residents, they\u2019re not just spreading festive cheer, they\u2019re building bridges across generations.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>Hillcrest School Choir (Image: Supplied)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Olivia Barber, a 10-year-old student, spoke about the joy she felt seeing the residents&#8217; reactions.
