Images show a yellow Lamborghini Urus, estimated to be worth around \u00a3200k, severely damaged following a collision on a city centre road.<\/p>\n

Police were called to a crash near Birmingham city centre involving a high-performance yellow Lamborghini Urus and another vehicle on Saturday December 6. West Midlands Police officers closed the road shortly after midday.<\/p>\n

The crash involved a distinctive yellow Lamborghini Urus, valued at roughly \u00a3200,000, and a second car, identified as a Skoda. The aftermath of the collision is clearly visible in photos from the scene, showing the Lamborghini significantly damaged in the middle of the road with at least one wheel dislodged.<\/p>\n

As a result of the incident, West Midlands Police shut down Summer Lane, which borders the Hockley area. Motorists in the vicinity are being advised to expect considerable disruption and delays throughout the afternoon.<\/p>\n

Currently, the road is blocked between New John Street West and New Summer Street by a police cordon while officers investigate the cause of the crash. The cordon has also been extended to include a section of New Summer Street as inquiries continue, reports Birmingham Live reports.<\/a><\/p>\n

Images from the scene show that the second vehicle, a Skoda, was “smashed against a wall” at the junction of Summer Lane and Lower Tower Street. Both vehicles suffered significant front-end damage, with airbags deployed in both cars and debris can be seen strewn across the road near where 30mph signs are displayed.<\/p>\n

It is unclear if there have been any injuries in the crash at this time. West Midlands Police issued a statement: “Summer Lane, Birmingham. Road blocked between New John Street West and New Summer Street due to an incident. Expect some delays to your journey, plan ahead.”<\/p>\n

Motorists are advised to steer clear of the area while the road closure is in effect.
