Kate Middleton<\/a> shared a sweet moment with daughter Princess Charlotte<\/a> during her recent Christmas service.\n<\/p>\n On Friday, Dec. 5, the royal family attended the Princess of Wales\u2019 fifth annual \u201cTogether at Christmas\u201d carol service<\/a> in London.\n<\/p>\n Kate, 43, arrived at the event early to greet guests, volunteers and performers, and when Prince William<\/a> arrived shortly after with their three children \u2014 Prince George<\/a>, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis<\/a>, 7 \u2014 the couple’s daughter had an adorable interaction with her mom.\n<\/p>\n Charlotte was photographed smiling as she greeted Kate near the entrance of Westminster Abbey, where the event took place, before the Princess of Wales placed a hand on her daughter’s back and guided the kids into the venue.\n<\/p>\n Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, and Kate Middleton at “Together At Christmas” Carol Service.<\/p>\n Aaron Chown \/ POOL \/ AFP via Getty<\/p>\n Princess Kate launched the carol service in 2021 as a way to honor community heroes who worked on the frontlines and spent time volunteering during the COVID pandemic<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n The annual event was held at the same venue that saw William and Kate tie the knot in 2011<\/a> and featured the theme of \u201clove in all its forms.\u201d\n<\/p>\n PEOPLE’s updated Christmas at the Palace<\/a> edition<\/a> is now available!<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n PEOPLE Magazine’s Christmas at the Palace issue.<\/p>\n People Magazine<\/p>\n This year, the event included a Christmas tree with a red paper chain<\/a> wrapped around it, featuring names and various messages. The royal family wore color-coordinated outfits at the event. George and Louis had on navy blue suits with white shirts alongside their father, as Charlotte wore a navy dress with a white collar.\n<\/p>\n Kate, meanwhile, wore a long green jacket with fur trim around the neckline, which matched the pops of color in George and Louis\u2019 ties.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Joining Kate and William were other members of the royal family<\/a>, including Zara Tindall<\/a> and her husband, Mike Tindall<\/a>, as well as Lord Frederick Windsor, his wife, Sophie Winkelman<\/a>, and their daughters, Maud, and Isabella, 9.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Princess Margaret<\/a>\u2019s daughter, Lady Shara Chatto, also attended the service alongside Kate\u2019s parents, Carole<\/a> and Michael Middleton<\/a>, her brother, James Middleton<\/a>, and his wife, Aliz\u00e9e Thevenet<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n While Hannah Waddingham<\/a> was initially scheduled to perform at the service, per Hello!<\/a>, she had to drop last-minute after her singing voice became compromised.
