Having placed in what can be considered a fairly easy draw, Germany must begin their preparations at the soonest. By June, the DFB must not just finalize a squad but find reliable options to give their best at the World Cup.

Now, the dates and venues for the World Cup games have been announced. Germany will play two games in the United States and one in Canada.

The opener game against Curaçao will be on June 14, at 19:00 CET (1:00PM EST). The game will happen in Houston in the NRG Stadium (Houston Stadium).

The second game will be six days away. Germany will face Côte D’Ivoire on June 20, at 22:00 CET (4:00PM EST). The game will happen in BMO Field, now renamed the Toronto Stadium, in Toronto.

Five days later, the final group stage game at New Jersey (New York) as Germany faces Ecuador in the MetLife Stadium (New York New Jersey Stadium) on 25 June at 22:00 CET (4:00PM EST).

The games seem to be pretty evenly spaced but a major concern the Germans will have to battle is jet-lag. Playing games at 10PM in their original time zones will be a challenge. Only time will tell how they fare.

If you are looking for more Bayern Munich and German national team coverage, check out the latest episodes of Bavarian Podcast Works, which you can get on Acast, Spotify, Apple, or any leading podcast distributor…

Following the World Cup draw at the Kennedy Centre in D.C., Germany’s opponents were revealed to be the…

[5310
2000,299,129072,1824
0":"post-616501","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-germany","8":"tag-eu","9":"tag-europe","10":"tag-german-national-team-and-international-soccer","11":"tag-germany
["GET
