Arsenal fans were left fuming with one star\u2019s display against PSG, questioning some team selection decisions from Mikel Arteta and calling for a transfer this summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It comes as the Gunners are behind in the Champions League<\/a> semi-final, following a difficult first leg at the Emirates Stadium<\/a>.<\/p>\n

An Ousmane Dembele finish just three minutes into the tie stunned the hosts, with Arsenal losing to PSG<\/a> and chasing the game in the second leg.<\/p>\n

While Mikel Arteta<\/a> got his team to put pressure on the French giants, they were unable to break them down.<\/p>\n

Plenty of criticism is onto some players in the squad, with Martin Odegaard<\/a> one star to pick up some criticism in particular from Arsenal<\/a> fans.<\/p>\n

One star who really struggled for Arsenal was club captain Martin Odegaard.<\/p>\n

The playmaker was unable to create many big chances for the side as they chased and pushed to try and get a goal back.<\/p>\n

For many, after a difficult season, it\u2019s time for Andrea Berta<\/a> to consider a sale for Odegaard, all those years on from his \u00a330million switch from Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

Taking to social media, fans gave their opinion, stating: \u201cOdegaard has been abysmal for a good while now. Entertain a sale for him in the summer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cYou know what, I think them people saying we should sell Odegaard ain\u2019t far off it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSell Odegaard in the summer,\u201d another fan bluntly said.<\/p>\n

Other fans questioned why Arsenal academy<\/a> graduate Ethan Nwaneri<\/a> wasn\u2019t given more of an opportunity to feature as a number ten.<\/p>\n

\u201cHope everyone agrees that \u00d8degaard cannot start next game. AWFUL season. \u201cNwaneri gave us more dynamism in a few minutes,\u201d one supporter claimed.<\/p>\n

That continued with: \u201cArteta needs to start exploring playing Nwaneri over Odegaard, I\u2019ve had enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

That frustration has been evident for much of the season, though Odegaard still has another match he can step up to the plate for Arsenal this season.<\/p>\n

The struggles of Martin Odegaard were evident in the statistics, following on from Arsenal\u2019s defeat to PSG.<\/p>\n

He was relatively safe in possession, making 89% of accurate passes, with just the one key pass to show for it.<\/p>\n

Odegaard\u2019s three crosses were all inaccurate, missing their intended target, while zero attempted shots summed up his tough evening.<\/p>\n

The drop-off in output has been a tough one to take, but the Norway international must step up for the second leg.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
