The FA Cup<\/a> third round draw is always a much-anticipated event, with Premier League<\/a> and Championship teams joining the fray and lower-league clubs dreaming of a high-profile match. Everton<\/a> and Liverpool<\/a> will learn their first opponents as both clubs aim to win the famous trophy.<\/p>\n

The third round will feature 64 teams, combining the top two divisions with the 20 second round victors. The draw will include at least two sixth-tier clubs due to a pair of all-non-league matches this weekend.<\/p>\n

Slough Town will face Macclesfield in one of the non-league showdowns on Sunday afternoon. National League team Boreham Wood, along with Gateshead and Carlisle United, are also aiming to spring surprises in their respective ties today (Sunday).<\/p>\n

Many clubs in the third round draw will be hoping for a match against big names, such as Everton and Liverpool, to significantly boost their finances. Here’s everything you need to know about the FA Cup third round draw.<\/p>\n

FA Cup third round draw start time<\/p>\n

The FA Cup third round draw will take place on Monday, December 8, at approximately 6.40pm UK time. Peter Crouch and Joe Cole will conduct the draw before kick-off of the second round’s final match between Brackley Town and Burton Albion.<\/p>\n

How to watch<\/p>\n

The draw will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 1. It will also be streamed live on the discovery+ app.<\/p>\n

Supporters without a TNT Sports subscription can tune into the draw on the TNT Sports YouTube channel. All third round matches are set to kick off over the weekend starting Saturday, January 10.<\/p>\n
