Paloma Faith<\/a> has revealed she\u2019s been hospitalised with the flu after announcing her pregnancy in October.<\/p>\n The 44-year-old singer, who recently appeared on The Celebrity Traitors<\/a>, has taken to social media<\/a> to share a picture of her in hospital as she thanked staff for treating her flu. <\/p>\n Sharing a photo of her in a black jumper and wearing a mask, Paloma wrote: \u2018Thanks Homerton Hospital for nebulising me for flu.\u2019<\/p>\n Hours later Paloma took to social media again with another post, in which she shared black and white photos of herself, writing alongside them: \u2018Pregnancy at 44. Ngl that\u2019s a bit worrying but I\u2019m trying to pretend to myself I\u2019m calm So that eventually that comes true.<\/p>\n \u2018I couldn\u2019t be more happy about another baby and I\u2019m bracing myself for the storm<\/a>\u2026.\u2019 <\/p>\n Paloma already shares two daughters, born in 2016 and 2021, with her ex-partner Leyman Lahcine.<\/p>\n However in 2023\u00a0she confirmed they\u2019d split after a 10-year relationship<\/a>.<\/p>\n \t\t She has not revealed who the father of her third child is, however earlier this year it was reported that she was dating Stevie Thomas, the director of a music venue in Birmingham after he joined her at a Brit Awards afterparty.<\/p>\n The singer, who has never revealed her children\u2019s names publicly, has previously spoken about the \u2018harrowing\u2019 struggle to conceive.<\/p>\n Before welcoming her daughters, she faced six rounds of IVF treatment, during which she suffered an ectopic pregnancy and a devastating miscarriage,\u00a0which occurred while she was on set filming the TV series Pennyworth<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u2018When we first started trying, I had previously become pregnant quite easily and so I was concerned,\u2019 she told Davina McCall on her Begin Again podcast.<\/p>\n \t\t \u2018It does irritate me that science, because it is mainly dominated by men, is that if it is a male fertility problem, which it was in our case, it is still the woman that has to endure the brunt of the stuff.<\/p>\n \u2018There has been no breakthrough. He was devastated the whole time and said, \u201cIf there\u2019s something I can take, or I can do injections. Why does it have to fall on you?\u201d.<\/p>\n Speaking about the split from her ex, she also once said: \u2018You either grow together, adapting to one another like expandable foam and filling the gaps where it\u2019s empty \u2013 or one person grows and the other stays the same.<\/p>\n \u2018And I think for me, becoming a mother was such a massively life-changing experience that for the first time in my life, I needed more than nothing \u2013 and the expandable foam just wasn\u2019t there.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tWhat are flu symptoms?\t\t\t<\/p>\n NHS<\/a>\u00a0bosses have reported a record number of patients in hospitals <\/a>after an \u2018unprecedented flu wave\u2019 this winter. <\/p>\n Flu symptoms come on suddenly and can include:<\/p>\n Nausea (feeling sick)<\/p>\n A sudden high temperature<\/p>\n An aching body<\/p>\n Tiredness or exhaustion<\/p>\n Dry cough<\/p>\n Sore throat<\/p>\n Headache<\/p>\n Insomnia (difficulty sleeping)<\/p>\n Loss of appetite<\/p>\n Diarrhoea or stomach pain<\/p>\n \u2018Our relationship ended because we have those children.
