Senne Lammens<\/a> has settled in nicely as a Manchester United<\/a> player, which he says has been easy thanks to the surprisingly nice atmosphere in the squad.<\/p>\n The 23-year-old made the huge step up to join the Red Devils from Royal Antwerp in an \u00a318.1m deal during the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n After being eased into the first team, the Belgian has become first choice after Andre Onana<\/a>\u2019s departure and with Altay Bayindir<\/a> being relegated to the bench.<\/p>\n Manchester United still have a lot of work to do to return to the elite, but Lammens appears to have been a positive step in their journey back up the Premier League<\/a> table.<\/p>\n Asked who he has become closest to in the Old Trafford<\/a> dressing room, Lammens reveals that there is a great togetherness in the squad, which has made things surprisingly comfortable since arriving in England.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tGet your football fix\t\t\t<\/p>\n Punchy analysis, transfer talk and more from Metro’s<\/strong> football experts sent straight to your inbox \u2013 sign up<\/a>, it’s an open goal.<\/p>\n \u2018I would say maybe Tom Heaton or the fourth goalkeeper Dermot Mee or also, like, the Dutch guys, because it\u2019s easier with the language as well,\u2019 the goalkeeper told Stadium Astro<\/a> on his closest teammates. <\/p>\n \u2018But I think just in general that\u2019s what surprised me the most. It\u2019s just the togetherness of the group and of the dressing room. Everyone was really nice. So I don\u2019t really want to say one or two guys. It\u2019s in general with everybody, to be honest.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t The Belgium international is pleased with how things have started for him in England, with Manchester United able to climb to sixth in the Premier League if they can beat bottom club Wolves<\/a> on Monday night.<\/p>\n \u2018It\u2019s been really good. I think I\u2019ve done what I have to do. Just give the team confidence and be there as a leader behind,\u2019 he told Sky Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u2018I haven\u2019t done too many crazy things. That\u2019s also good being a goalkeeper. Not being too high or too low. Just being there and the team can count on you. I think that\u2019s also knowing when to do it is also important.<\/p>\n \u2018I\u2019ve always had a healthy amount of pressure. I put it on myself rather from the outside world. I try to be as calm as possible, it\u2019s been alright.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t Helping him keep his composure is a routine the goalkeeper has got into, as he writes a journal before and after every game to collect his thoughts.<\/p>\n \u2018I think it started when I started played at Antwerp two years ago,\u2019 he said. \u2018I like to write things down before and after a game just to get my head into the right mindset. Sometimes if things don\u2019t go right, or you don\u2019t want it in your head, you just write it down to get it off your chest.<\/p>\n \u2018I came up with it a little bit myself, but also got it from people talking about it as well, so I thought I would give it a try and it actually helped me a lot, so I still do it.<\/p>\n \u2018Before a game, I write down a little bit about the opponent, about how they will play and put pressure on me.
