Manchester United are once again looking to bounce back when they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers tonight. Diogo Dalot opened the scoring against West Ham on Thursday night but a Soungoutou Magassa equaliser led to a tricky post-match press conference for Ruben Amorim.<\/p>\n

Amorim<\/a> was questioned on Kobbie Mainoo’s lack of involvement again and he admitted he could make no promises that the England international would be handed a chance when players depart for AFCON this month. United really need to pick up a win tonight against bottom of the table Wolves<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Matthijs de Ligt will hope to be fit for the fixture after missing the West Ham game with a minor issue. Harry Maguire<\/a> and Benjamin Sesko<\/a> are both expected to miss out through injury.<\/p>\n

Here’s a look at how our writers think United should line up at Molineux:<\/p>\n

Steven Railston<\/strong><\/p>\n

De Ligt should start if he is fit enough to be involved after missing the draw against West Ham. Leny Yoro should also be recalled to the starting team after being given a breather.<\/p>\n

Mainoo has been a talking point all season and Amorim rubbed some fans up the wrong way when he laughed in response to a question about bringing the youngster on from the bench. Amorim laughed because he is regularly asked about Mainoo, but the optics were not great at all.<\/p>\n

Amorim should give Mainoo his first start of the Premier League season against Wolves. Then, if Mainoo underperforms, Amorim can at least point to the performance as evidence for why he doesn’t play.<\/p>\n

Mainoo and Casemiro had a strong understanding when the youngster first broke into the team. Bruno Fernandes could be moved into a more attacking position, and could even play as a false nine.<\/p>\n

Jack Flintham<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ayden Heaven’s outing against West Ham lasted just 45 minutes and shows how far he still has to go to be a regular in the United defence. If he is fit, De Ligt should be back in as a priority for Amorim.<\/p>\n

A lot has been said about giving Mainoo a chance and this evening could be the opportunity. Fernandes can push forward into one of the positions behind the striker.<\/p>\n

Joshua Zirkzee hasn’t nailed down the No.9 position in Sesko’s absence and so Cunha can lead the line. Mason Mount impressed in the last away outing and he could be a good option off the bench.<\/p>\n
