Following the move into a new home, Forest Lodge, Prince William\u2019s<\/strong> neighbors are upset. The move has required tighter security around the royal family, which caused drama with the monarch\u2019s neighbors.<\/p>\n

The prince moved into the large eight-bedroom Georgian home, located in Great Windsor Park, last month. His wife, Kate Middleton, and three children also are residing in the house.<\/p>\n

A royal source notes the family was looking for a \u201cfresh start\u201d after Kate\u2019s cancer battle <\/a>while living in their former home, Adelaide Cottage, according to RadarOnline<\/a>. The prince\u2019s new neighbors feel he is \u201cabusing\u201d his power. They are not able to drive past the home to access the Christmas tree shop on the property. The added security has caused inconvenience for those in the area. To reach the farm, visitors are forced to detour a mile around the property. This creates more traffic in the quiet and tranquil neighborhood.<\/p>\n

There is also additional security in the farm parking lot to ensure no one strays onto the royal family\u2019s property.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Christmas trees issue might seem silly, but the point is this is all public property, and William should not have been able to close those roads and close access to that land. It\u2019s not his to do what he wants with,\u201d said royal expert Graham Smith\u00a0to Newsweek<\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s also forced two people, two families to move out of their homes. They were relocated to other places on the park, but this is just another example of William just basically sticking two fingers up to local people and then just grabbing land that isn\u2019t his just so that he can move from one house to another. So it\u2019s just an abuse of power and privilege for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

William and Kate want to stay in their new home indefinitely after he ascends to the throne as King. It better accommodates their children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10 and Prince Louis, 7. Their former abode only had four bedrooms and couldn\u2019t accommodate live-in help.<\/p>\n
