European leaders were now optimistic an agreement could be reached before Christmas, according to people familiar with the matter.<\/p>\n<p>Ukraine\u2019s allies are under growing pressure to find fresh sources of financing after U.S. President Donald Trump\u2019s administration largely stopped aid to the war-ravaged country.
