The Owls ended a turbulent period of ownership when Dejphon Chansiri<\/a> sailed off under a grey cloud, placing the club into administration. <\/p>\n

Wednesday were deducted another six points last week<\/a> to take the club to -10 for the campaign and League One<\/a> football is practically certain for next season. <\/p>\n

With Watford to face next in the league, a reputable and renowned journalist has delivered an update on the administrators potentially naming a preferred buyer. <\/p>\n

The Wednesday situation is set to be an intriguing one, and now, Sky Sports\u2019 lead journalist, Dorsett, has shared some more information on the pending takeover. <\/p>\n

It does appear as though some parties aren\u2019t keen on the outlay that will need to be paid to Chansiri, with Simon Jordan already walking away on that basis<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Dorsett has delivered a bit of bad news regarding the timescale for things to take place, with a preferred bidder now seemingly unlikely before the end of this week. <\/p>\n

Wednesday will have a match to focus on this week anyway and the hope will be that more news can be delivered next week with regards to the takeover. <\/p>\n

Wednesday takeover can\u2019t come soon enough<\/p>\n

Although this season in terms of remaining in the Championship is pretty much done and dusted, Wednesday have much bigger fish to fry. <\/p>\n

With League One set to welcome Wednesday back next year, it\u2019s vital that any new owners come in with a clear and concise recruitment plan to get the Owls firing back into the second tier. <\/p>\n

Dorsett\u2019s comments aren\u2019t great news, it has to be said, and it would appear that Chansiri is still indirectly causing some issues for the football club. <\/p>\n

The Chansiri chapter can\u2019t close soon enough, and any new owner has to be capable of forming a bond and a rapport with the long-suffering supporters of the football club. <\/p>\n
