I\u2019m 27, and I have not seen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsallover.com\/best-bargain-signings-leeds-united-history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a player with such genius<\/a> in my time avidly following the club.<\/p>\n<p>That being said, his story continued in a very wholesome way, returning to his hometown club Castellon. First, he was saw out the latter stages of his playing career. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsallover.com\/leeds-united-news-pablo-hernandez-cites-marcelo-bielsa-coaching-inspiration-at-castellon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Now, he\u2019s dipped into management thanks to inspiration from Marcelo Bielsa<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>    Most Read on LeedsAllOver<\/p>\n<p>Pablo Hernandez thriving as Castellon\u2019s permanent manager after recent appointment<\/p>\n<p>Having taken up a role as Castellon B\u2019s head coach, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsallover.com\/leeds-united-legend-pablo-hernandez-named-castellon-manager\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hernandez was thrust into the first team<\/a> when he became interim manager, replacing Johan Plat initially.<\/p>\n<p>In eight league games on a temporary basis, Hernandez collected four wins and two draws for a total of 14 points. (Pool via REUTERS\/Lynne Cameron)<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, he secured win last time out against second-placed Deportivo La Coruna, dismantling Leeds\u2019 2001 Champions League opponents with a resounding 3-1 away win. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marca.com\/futbol\/segunda-division\/cronica\/2025\/12\/07\/castellon-remonta-riazor-deja-depor-liderato.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marca\u2019s<\/a> review of Hernandez\u2019s setup speaks volumes for his exciting progression into management.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe visiting team dominated the game and possession. Pablo Hern\u00e1ndez\u2019s team is designed to attack the opponent\u2019s goal,\u201d Marca wrote. \u201cPablo Hern\u00e1ndez\u2019s team was putting on a masterclass in attacking football.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Leeds United must be keeping an eye on Pablo Hernandez\u2019s amazing managerial work<\/p>\n<p>For me, the rate at which Hernandez is driving Castellon into the promotion picture is definitely worth keeping a close eye on.<\/p>\n<p>At the moment, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsallover.com\/gary-neville-backs-daniel-farke-as-leeds-united-manager\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">it seems like Daniel Farke has battled his way through an incredibly challenging period<\/a> to retain his job. Even if he\u2019s not totally out of the woods.<\/p>\n<p>That being said, I for one am really intrigued to see how Hernandez develops into a senior coach over in Spain. Because, it seems an inevitable situation where he\u2019s being linked with a move to Elland Road.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m not for a minute saying we get him in any time soon.
