It\u2019s no surprise that Wilfried Nancy\u2019s system has been the main talking point after his first Celtic game in charge. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Before a ball was kicked, everybody was talking about the little time Nancy<\/a> had to work with the Celtic<\/a> players, and whether he would adapt his system straight away. <\/p>\n

Despite the Premiership leaders visiting Parkhead, the new man in the dugout didn\u2019t hesitate to dive into the deep end during Celtic\u2019s defeat to Hearts<\/a>. <\/p>\n

A lot have questioned whether Nancy made the right call to change his system, but Kieran Tierney<\/a> wanted to shut all of that down with an air of positivity. <\/p>\n

Speaking to Sky Sports, Tierney wanted to point towards how well Celtic started the game, and the two big chances that fell Daizen Maeda\u2019s way<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Celtic\u2019s returning left-back stated that the crowd were \u2018reacting well\u2019 to it all, it\u2019s just the fact that the champions of Scotland<\/a> weren\u2019t ruthless enough.<\/p>\n

Tierney also admitted that the players aren\u2019t \u2018100% sure\u2019 in what the manager wants, but he thinks that\u2019s just down to a lack of training sessions with the new boss. <\/p>\n

\u201cAye, it\u2019s a bad day,\u201d said Tierney. \u201cYou can\u2019t get beaten at home. Not acceptable. <\/p>\n

\u201cThere were obviously positives to take there, for sure. The first half, especially, I think what was missing was the goal. I think we had our chances. We had them on the back foot. It\u2019s the crucial time to score, and we never managed to do that. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think in the first half, you have seen it, even the crowd were reacting well. I think we pressed well. We got the ball back quickly. <\/p>\n

\u201cThen, there will be times when we aren\u2019t 100% sure yet. But that\u2019s why we are training. We have a few days of training now before the next game. Things will be more clear as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tierney on the Celtic players needing to \u2018learn quickly\u2019 <\/p>\n

Celtic have some huge games<\/a> coming up, starting with a Europa League home clash against AS Roma on Thursday night. <\/p>\n

Then it\u2019s the small matter of Celtic\u2019s League Cup final clash against St Mirren<\/a> on Sunday at Hampden. There is no rest for the wicked, and Tierney thinks everyone needs to \u2018learn quickly.\u2019 <\/p>\n

\u201cAye, and we will, no doubt about it,\u201d responded Tierney on Celtic needing to \u2018learn quickly\u2019 given that it\u2019s Roma and the League Cup final this week. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe will have meetings. We will watch the game back as well. Where can we improve? Lots to look forward to this week, and hopefully, it will be a good week.\u2019<\/p>\n
