Ayden Heaven believes “nobody can stop” Manchester United if they play as they did against Wolves. United won 4-1 at Molineux in the Premier League<\/a> on Monday thanks to a second-half rout. It was 1-1 at half-time after an equaliser from Jean-Ricner Bellegarde. Wolves had not scored for five successive Premier League games but broke their duck to get back into the contest.<\/p>\n United responded well to surrendering their advantage and came out swinging in the second half, with Bryan Mbeumo and Mason Mount getting on the scoresheet to make it 3-1. United captain Bruno Fernandes put the icing on the cake when he converted a penalty to complete his brace.<\/p>\n Heaven retained his starting role at Molineux, despite being hooked against West Ham at the interval last week, and the youngster delivered a significantly improved performance. Speaking in the mixed zone after the game, Heaven said: “We dropped points in the last game and this was the chance to go and redeem ourselves and get more points. I feel like we did that, especially in the second half. We knew it wasn’t good enough that we conceded. He [Amorim] just told us to do what we can do and we did that, as you saw.”<\/p>\n Heaven believes Amorim showed faith in him by keeping him in the XI. “There’s so many great defenders at this club that he’s trusting you to be at the middle of that defence. He\u2019s trusting me a lot,” he said. “I feel like I\u2019m working hard every day in training and I\u2019m showing he can trust me in the games that I\u2019m playing. I wouldn\u2019t say it was rust. I felt confident. West Ham are a good team and they started well.<\/p>\n “I thought I was a good player. I knew that I first had to gain the trust of the manager and slowly I know I\u2019m doing that. I feel like I\u2019m doing well at the moment, but I\u2019ve just got to keep working.”<\/p>\n The 19-year-old is relishing the chance to work with experienced defensive colleagues. “I\u2019m enjoying it because knowing you have that experience around you,” he added. “You are not scared to go on the front foot and not scared of what you leave behind either. They\u2019re always there when I need them.”<\/p>\n United have moved to sixth in the Premier League table. “If we carry on how we did today with this same team then we can go as high as possible,” said Heaven about building consistency.<\/p>\n “We\u2019ve just got to do what we did today in every game. I don\u2019t think anyone can stop us when we play like this. Of course, playing at Old Trafford<\/a> [in three of the next four games], you can\u2019t say no to that. It\u2019s a real boost to us and it will work in our favour. We want to win as many games as possible.<\/p>\n
