A takeover of Sheffield Wednesday could be completed for \u00a330million amid interest from up to six bidders.<\/strong><\/p>\n That is according to ex-Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness, speaking exclusively to Football Insider<\/strong>, who has stated why the administrators will not be demanding more than \u00a330m for Sheffield Wednesday<\/a>. <\/p>\n Sheffield Wednesday have been in administration<\/a> since October, and the club have been handed a further six-point deduction. <\/p>\n Former Newcastle<\/a> owner Mike Ashley has launched a bid to takeover Sheffield Wednesday<\/a>, who are almost certain to be playing in League One next season.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u00a330m could be \u2018winning bid\u2019 for Sheffield Wednesday<\/p>\n Everton\u2019s former chief Keith Wyness<\/a> \u2013 who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs \u2013 knows of five bidders for Sheffield Wednesday.<\/p>\n Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider<\/strong>\u2018s Inside Track podcast<\/a>, Wyness has given his take on the latest at Hillsborough.<\/p>\n He told Football Insider<\/strong>\u2018s Inside Track podcast: \u201cWell, I\u2019ve been keeping a close eye, of course. I mean, yeah, it\u2019s another six points, which really doesn\u2019t make that much difference because I think everybody agrees already they\u2019re down. I think they\u2019re on minus 10 there. <\/p>\n MORE FOOTBALL INSIDER STORIES<\/p>\n \u201cLook, I\u2019ve been watching the whole process carefully. It does seem that we\u2019re coming towards the end game. Claims of five or six bidders. I\u2019m aware of at least five. I know the identities of at least five that have been in the media as well. Two local guys plus one American. <\/p>\n \u201cWho else have we got? We\u2019ve got Mike Ashley, of course. And then the owner of FC Midtjylland, which is quite the interesting one. They have been very progressive and an interesting club. That would be a very interesting tie-up.<\/p>\n \u201cNow,\u00a0we\u2019re\u00a0talking about \u00a330 million plus is going to be something like the winning bid. I don\u2019t think it will be that much above that because the administrator\u00a0recognises\u00a0that whoever comes in will have to spend a lot of money on\u00a0stadium\u00a0and the club itself.\u00a0So\u00a0they\u2019re\u00a0not going to push them, I\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0think beyond that, but certainly anything under \u00a330 million\u00a0wouldn\u2019t\u00a0be accepted.\u00a0So\u00a0we\u2019re\u00a0looking at \u00a330m, \u00a335m.
