World-famous English \u201890s girl group Spice Girls is reportedly planning to reunite for a world tour to mark their 30-year anniversary.<\/p>\n

Rumours are swirling that the iconic pop group is getting the gang \u2014 Mel B \u2018Scary Spice\u2019, Melanie C, \u2018Sporty Spice\u2019, Emma Bunton \u2018Baby Spice\u2019, Geri Halliwell, Ginger Spice, and Victoria Beckham, \u2018Posh Spice\u2019 \u2014 back together again.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s what fans want, it\u2019s what they really, really want. Sources told The Sun<\/a> that Geri Horner, formerly Halliwell, known for her red knee-high platform boots and Union Jack mini-dress, and former band manager Simon Fuller are back in touch, with plans in the works to meet up later this week in Miami to settle a deal.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere have been rumours swirling for months, but Geri has always been too busy and had other things on, preventing her from saying \u2018yes\u2019,\u201d sources told The Sun<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cNothing is yet confirmed but Geri and Simon are back in touch with a myriad of exciting ideas.\u201d<\/p>\n

But sadly, the source said one of the five members will be missing.<\/p>\n

Victoria Beckham is \u201c90 per cent out of the running\u201d but Geri, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C are all said to be considering a world tour next year.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, Victoria has pretty much ruled herself out, but there is still a world in which she could do some sort of avatar appearance or a special one-off thing,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe would always want to honour the girls\u2019 history.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pop group formed back in 1994, after the girls each responded to an ad for auditions to join a \u201cmanufactured\u201d girl group. They rose to fame after their 1996 debut single \u2018Wannabe\u2019 reached number one on the charts in 37 countries.<\/p>\n

They went on to sell over 100 million records worldwide and have nine number one singles in their four-year run, and are widely considered the best-selling girl group of all time.<\/p>\n

They officially broke up in 2001, with Geri Spice leaving the group earlier in \u201998. But they have given fans a little spice every so often, reuniting for tours over the years including a tour in 2007 and a performance at the London Olympics closing ceremony in 2012.<\/p>\n

Posh was also missing from their last tour in 2019, which sold 700,000 tickets across 13 sold-out stadiums in UK and Ireland.<\/p>\n

Mel C also hinted at plans for a 2026 reunion earlier this year on Australia radio, giving fans hope.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have to do something special,\u201d she said, speaking on Sydney\u2019s 2Day FM in March.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, I can\u2019t say too much but we are talking about things.
