EastEnders<\/a><\/strong> spoilers follow.<\/strong><\/p>\n

EastEnders\u2019 Harry Mitchell took a desperate step tonight (Tuesday 9 December<\/strong>) before disappearing from the Square.<\/p>\n

Over the past few weeks viewers have seen Harry spiralling as he battles drug addiction as well as his guilt over Okie\u2019s murder and his dad Teddy taking the fall for him. <\/p>\n

On Monday\u2019s episode Harry found out from George that Teddy has decided to plead guilty<\/a> to Okie\u2019s murder. <\/p>\n

This lead to Harry confessing to George that he was actually the one who killed Okie. After a heart-to-heart, George convinced Harry to go and hand himself into the police in order to free his dad and clear his conscience.<\/p>\n

But just as Harry was about to do the right thing, Nicola arrived home and found out his plan. In order to stop her son handing himself in, Nicola told George she was pregnant with his child and she’d go to jail too if Harry confessed.<\/p>\n

Tonight George was still reeling from Nicola\u2019s revelation. After accusing her of lying, George went to Honey who confirmed she\u2019d seen the positive pregnancy test.<\/p>\n

At home, Nicola was furious with Harry for telling George the truth. Harry begged his mum for money for drugs but she wouldn\u2019t give in, instead storming out. <\/p>\n

When Barney came home he found a frantic Harry who immediately asked him for cash. In anger, Harry let out to Barney that their father has pleaded guilty and their mother is pregnant with another man’s baby.<\/p>\n

After an upset Barney ran upstairs, Harry spied Nicola\u2019s wedding ring on the couch and took it. <\/p>\n

After finding out about Nicola’s pregnancy George told his daughter Gina, who informed him Nicola had been all round the Square looking for him. This led George to text Nicola to meet at The Albert so they could talk.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Nicola came home to find Harry passed out on the couch. Barney told her Harry had pawned her wedding ring to buy drugs, before asking his mum if it was true his dad had pleaded guilty and she was pregnant. <\/p>\n

Angry he’d once again been left in the dark by his family, Barney walked out on Nicola. <\/p>\n

With Barney gone, Nicola threw a glass of water over Harry to wake him up before berating him for telling Barney about Teddy and for pawning her ring.<\/p>\n

She then went to The Albert where her and George had a heart to heart, with Nicola trying to explain why Teddy had to take the fall for Harry. George then agreed to keep quiet about Harry and offered to come home with her to check on him. <\/p>\n

But when they got home there was no Harry, just a note on the kitchen table reading ‘see you in court’. A distraught Nicola was then comforted by George. <\/p>\n

Will Nicola and George be able to find Harry before he tells the police the truth? <\/p>\n

EastEnders<\/strong> airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast. <\/strong><\/p>\n
