Jason Manford has been left ‘heartbroken’ after a raging storm battered his beloved Christmas<\/a> decoration. The Salford-born comic has had a rough start to the festive season after his favourite outdoor display was wiped out.<\/p>\n His towering nutcracker statue toppled in strong winds, snapping off one of its arms and leaving the 44-year-old gutted. The giant figure had stood proudly outside the front of his home in Stockport<\/a> before the weather<\/a> sent it crashing down.<\/p>\n TV funnyman Jason discovered the festive carnage on Sunday (December 7), as reported by What\u2019s The Jam. The star is currently appearing in Robin Hood at the Opera House Manchester this Christmas, and said the nutcracker helped \u201cwelcome\u201d him home after long days of \u201cpantoing\u201d.<\/p>\n Jason said: \u201cAbsolutely heartbroken. I loved this guy.<\/p>\n \u201cFor years he welcomed me home all Christmas after long days of pantoing. Stupid wind.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans flooded him with advice and cheeky comments after he shared the mishap. Bob Purnell said: \u201cThe Repair Shop at Christmas. Perfect candidate.\u201d<\/p>\n Bridget Lapworth added: \u201cGet the superglue out.\u201d Lisa Moss urged: \u201cCome on now soldier on.\u201d<\/p>\n Dave Harry joked: \u201cThe wind is armless don\u2019t worry.\u201d Another offered: \u201cI have a really good sling you can have.
