Jordan Bardella, the leader of the far-right National Rally party, also denounced <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/uk\/2138689\/rwanda-scheme-deterred-more-migrants\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sir Keir Starmer&#8217;s one-in-one-out deal<\/a>, calling it a &#8220;smokescreen&#8221;. He also believes that <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/nigel-farage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nigel Farage<\/a> will lead Reform UK to victory at the next general election, and therefore the two men must prepare to govern neighbouring nations together.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Bardella wants to completely overhaul France&#8217;s immigration policy, which would combat crossings, he argues. This includes relocating asylum processing to embassies and consulates in different countries, as well as \u201cthe systematic expulsion of foreign offenders and criminals\u201d and prioritising French citizens for social housing and &#8220;assistance&#8221;.
