The ATP Grand Slam season is currently building towards the French Open, with Jannik Sinner having won the Australian Open at the start of 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sinner is into his 47th week as number one<\/a>, despite not playing a match since lifting the Australian Open trophy in January.<\/p>\n

He can return from his three-month suspension well in time for the French Open, with many of his ATP<\/a> rivals currently competing at the Madrid Open.<\/p>\n

World number three Carlos Alcaraz<\/a> did, however, withdraw from the ATP Masters 1000 tournament due to injury.<\/p>\n

He shared the Grand Slam titles with Sinner<\/a> in 2024, winning the French Open and Wimbledon<\/a> as the Italian won the Australian Open and the US Open<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Daniil Medvedev likes two-week Masters<\/a> events such as the Madrid Open, but former professional John Isner<\/a> believes they are very different to Grand Slams.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the Nothing Major Show, the American said: \u201cThere is a lot more parity at these 1000 level events. There are probably 10 or 15 players who can conceivably win one. It is not the case at a Grand Slam.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think at Slams it is still like it has been the same 20 years. It is Sinner and Alcaraz [who are favourites at Slams] and then I still think [Novak] Djokovic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I think there are three players, Sinner, Alcaraz and Djokovic potentially at Wimbledon and the US Open.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut for sure heads and shoulders above everyone else are Alcaraz and Sinner at Grand Slam level but we have seen at 1000 level, other players show up and win these big events.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

What Grand Slam titles have Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner won?<\/p>\n

While backing Sinner and Alcaraz is no surprise, it is certainly an interesting time to back Djokovic for Grand Slam success.<\/p>\n

The Serbian leads the way for men\u2019s Grand Slam titles with 24, ahead of fellow legends Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.<\/p>\n

He also boasts a stunning 99 career titles, but right now finds himself very much out of form, with many fans calling for Djokovic to retire<\/a>.<\/p>\n
