According to <a href=\"https:\/\/east-fruit.com\/en\/news\/morocco-sets-new-seasonal-record-for-mandarin-exports-to-germany\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EastFruit<\/a>, shipments surged during the 2024\/25 season, propelling Morocco to fourth place among suppliers to the German market.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Between October 2024 and September 2025, Moroccan exporters delivered 8,200 tons of mandarins and clementines to Germany, worth USD 12.1 million. This marks a 60% increase compared to the previous record set in 2022\/23. For the first time, export revenues exceeded USD 10 million.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" data-lazyloaded=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-256540 alignnone size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/1765357516_837_image-28.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"974\" height=\"548\"  data-\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Germany is not traditionally a core destination for Moroccan mandarins. In 2024\/25, however, its share rose to 1.45% of Morocco\u2019s total exports, lifting Germany to 11th place among importers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moroccan shipments typically begin in October, peaking between December and March. In the past season, the highest monthly volume (1,500 tons) was recorded in January. While exports usually taper off from April and reach minimal levels in summer, the 2024\/25 season was notable for significantly higher volumes in April-May compared with previous years.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" data-lazyloaded=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-256541 alignnone size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-29.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"974\" height=\"548\"  data-\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Spain remains Germany\u2019s dominant supplier, accounting for more than 76% of imports, though Spanish volumes have been declining in recent years. This has opened opportunities for other exporters. Its share of total imports rose to 2.5%, up from 1.3% the previous season.
