A city centre store is set to close in exactly a month’s time. Posters have gone up in the windows of the Ranelagh Street venue, telling customers that \u201ceverything must go\u201d.<\/a><\/p>\n Go Outdoors Express, just down from Liverpool Central station,<\/a> stocks footwear, camping and cycling equipment, as well as fishing tackle. Also lining the shelves you will find everything you need to start your climbing, running, horse riding and watersports journeys.<\/p>\n The venue is home to brands like Peter Storm, Berghaus, North Ridge, Nikwax, Regatta, Craghoppers, Hi-Gear, OEX and Scarpa.<\/p>\n The express store opened in November 22. It is located in the building that previously housed a Millets and is a smaller format shop.<\/p>\n The larger superstore in Merseyside is located on Rimrose Road in Bootle<\/a> and opened in May 2015. The smaller of the two will close on Saturday, January 10, with 30% off in-store.<\/p>\n The posters plastered in the store windows add: \u201cClosing down. All stock must go.\u201d<\/p>\n A mere five days after its closure, Poundland, located a few minutes walk away and on Lord Street, will also shut.<\/a><\/p>\n It comes as the retail chain said it is closing further UK stores by February as part of its ongoing programme.<\/p>\n The discount brand has already trimmed the size of its chain this year as it hopes to turn around its performance and secure its future on Britain\u2019s high streets.<\/p>\n Back in June, Poundland announced its plans to permanently close 68 shops<\/a> following the sale of the brand by Pepco Group to Peach Bidco, a subsidiary of private equity firm Gordon Brothers, for \u00a31.<\/p>\n The shops that are due to close<\/a> are holding clearance sales<\/a>, with reductions of up to 40% and with items marked down in price until they are sold.<\/p>\n Merseyside branches which have already closed this year include shops in Southport<\/a> and <\/strong>Wallasey<\/a> which both closed in August.
