\u201cWhat I see is a strong Europe, united behind Ukraine and united behind our longstanding values of freedom and democracy,\u201d\u00a0Starmer told MPs on Wednesday. \u201cI will always stand up for those values and those freedoms.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

But the U.S. National Security Strategy released last week<\/a> said Europe faces \u201ccivilizational erasure,\u201d\u00a0triggered by excess migration from Muslim-majority and non-European countries.<\/p>\n

Starmer\u2019s spokesperson on Wednesday also stood up for Labour London Mayor Sadiq Khan, the capital city\u2019s first Muslim mayor, after Trump singled him out for criticism. <\/p>\n
