Unequivocally, we are maxing PSR out this season. If we had gone on to other targets [on deadline day], the consequences would have been seen in the current roster. Use the comment button on the bottom left to have your say <\/p>\n<p>However, that doesn\u2019t mean <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsunited.news\/club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leeds<\/a> can splash the cash carelessly, and still need to be on the lookout for bargains.<\/p>\n<p>One freebie on the market right now is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsunited.news\/tag\/alex-oxlade-chamberlain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/everton-looking-at-incredible-free-agent-with-235-premier-league-appearances\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">TBR Football<\/a> believe Leeds are aware of his situation, and the England international has now issued an update on his future.<\/p>\n<p>Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain determined to find a new club amid Leeds United links<\/p>\n<p>The 32-year-old has been without a club since mutually agreeing to terminate his contract at Besiktas in August, but is now itching to get back to action.<\/p>\n<p>In a new interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/6872552\/2025\/12\/10\/alex-oxlade-chamberlain-interview-arsenal\/?source=twitteruk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The Athletic<\/a>, Oxlade-Chamberlain said: \u201cI want to play. I\u2019m not ready to call it quits by any means. I don\u2019t feel old. I\u2019ve still got that hunger to play and do well. I\u2019m in the bracket now where I\u2019ve been lucky enough to play for top clubs, win things and work with top managers. Use the comment button on the bottom left to have your say <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsunited.news\/news\/alex-oxlade-chamberlain-has-a-clear-transfer-preference-amid-leeds-united-links\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oxlade-Chamberlain, who wants to stay in England<\/a>, can boast 235 Premier League appearances from his time at Arsenal and Liverpool, winning the title in 2019\/20 with the latter.<\/p>\n<p>In that respect, the man born in Portsmouth can surely offer something to Daniel Farke, at least behind the scenes if not on the pitch straight away.<\/p>\n<p>Leeds United should consider offering Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain a pay-as-you-play deal<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsunited.news\/transfers\/james-milners-past-comments-about-alex-oxlade-chamberlains-dribbling-ability-should-be-very-interesting-to-leeds-united-now\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oxlade-Chamberlain, who James Milner admires<\/a>, earned \u00a353,160-a-week during his two years in Turkey, according to Capology.<\/p>\n<p>That would be a hefty salary for Leeds to offer the Southampton academy graduate immediately, especially if it turns out he\u2019s not fit enough to help Farke from the off.<\/p>\n<p> Which position do Leeds United need to strengthen most in January? <\/p>\n<p> \ud83d\udc47 Join the debate; share your insight.
