Leeds have some cash to spend in the winter transfer window, but not a great deal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Adam Williams recently informed Leeds United News<\/strong> that there is a budget for January<\/a> \u2013 despite Robbie Evans claiming that the club are already at their limit regarding PSR.<\/p>\n

However, that doesn\u2019t mean Leeds<\/a> can splash the cash carelessly, and still need to be on the lookout for bargains.<\/p>\n

One freebie on the market right now is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain<\/a>. <\/p>\n

TBR Football<\/a> believe Leeds are aware of his situation, and the England international has now issued an update on his future.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old has been without a club since mutually agreeing to terminate his contract at Besiktas in August, but is now itching to get back to action.<\/p>\n

In a new interview with The Athletic<\/a>, Oxlade-Chamberlain said: \u201cI want to play. I\u2019m not ready to call it quits by any means. I don\u2019t feel old. I\u2019ve still got that hunger to play and do well. I just want the opportunity to show what I can still do.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like I can add value on the pitch but also show the right way to train, the right way to act on and off the pitch. Oxlade-Chamberlain, who wants to stay in England<\/a>, can boast 235 Premier League appearances from his time at Arsenal and Liverpool, winning the title in 2019\/20 with the latter.<\/p>\n

In that respect, the man born in Portsmouth can surely offer something to Daniel Farke, at least behind the scenes if not on the pitch straight away.<\/p>\n

Leeds United should consider offering Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain a pay-as-you-play deal<\/p>\n

Oxlade-Chamberlain, who James Milner admires<\/a>, earned \u00a353,160-a-week during his two years in Turkey, according to Capology.<\/p>\n

That would be a hefty salary for Leeds to offer the Southampton academy graduate immediately, especially if it turns out he\u2019s not fit enough to help Farke from the off.<\/p>\n

Therefore, if Leeds do push ahead with this deal, we believe only a pay-as-you-play contract should be put on the table.<\/p>\n

Such a deal would safeguard Leeds if Oxlade-Chamberlain were to suffer an injury, which is likely given his fitness issues over the years, while it would also give motivation to the midfielder himself to deliver for Farke.<\/p>\n
