Andy Robertson has revealed what Mohamed Salah said to the Liverpool squad after being left out of the travelling party for Tuesday night\u2019s Champions League<\/a> victory over Inter Milan. Salah sent shockwaves following last weekend\u2019s 3-3 draw with Leeds United as he spoke out against Arne Slot and the club after being named on the bench for a third successive game.<\/p>\n Following his explosive comments<\/a>, the Reds took the decision to leave the Egyptian out<\/a> of their squad for their trip to the San Siro<\/a>.<\/p>\n With the 33-year-old\u2019s future at the club cast into doubt, it remains to be seen if a resolution will be reached in order for Salah<\/a> to earn a recall for next weekend\u2019s clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Steven Gerrard sends ominous Mohamed Salah Liverpool warning – ‘If this goes on’<\/a>READ MORE: Jarell Quansah speaks out on Mohamed Salah and Arne Slot after Liverpool row – ‘From what I’ve seen’<\/a><\/p>\n Speaking to CBS after the victory over Inter, Robertson<\/a> revealed that he had spoken to the forward following his comments as he reiterated his desire for the situation to be resolved amicably.<\/p>\n \u201cYes, of course I have (spoken to him),\u201d the Scotland captain said. \u201cHe was obviously in yesterday (Monday), he was in training.<\/p>\n \u201cThe decision was made for him not to travel. A lot has been said about it externally, obviously internally, of course it has.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a situation that now needs to be resolved between Mo and the club. You\u2019ve seen how together the changing room is in terms of the result we had.<\/p>\n \u201cMo is a fantastic player. He signed the same window as me, I\u2019ve played with him for eight and a half years. I consider him as pretty much my family, I\u2019ve spent probably more time with him than I have my own family over the last eight and a half years!<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve played with him for so long and I\u2019d like to continue playing with him, that\u2019s what I want from it. Obviously we\u2019ll see what happens over the next couple of weeks.<\/p>\n \u201cFirstly, he would probably want the season to have gone better for the club, and for him. He puts a huge amount of pressure on himself to perform all the time.<\/p>\n \u201cLast season he took it to a whole new level in terms of, at times, he carried this whole team forward to go and achieve amazing things.<\/p>\n \u201cI think we\u2019ve all been below the standards of last season, Mo included. And he\u2019ll be first to admit that.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd then obviously finds himself out of the team, which is probably a bit of a unique situation for him. It\u2019s obviously something that he\u2019s not used to experiencing.<\/p>\n \u201cBut he was positive yesterday (Monday) in terms of wishing us all well, sending us on our way.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m sure he would like to be involved. But the support for the lads was still there. As a teammate, that\u2019s all you can ask.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Robertson also praised Slot<\/a> when asked how the Liverpool<\/a> head coach had been handling the situation.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a unique situation for all of us,\u201d he said. \u201cI think the manager from the start has always just focused on football.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s focused on the game ahead. We had a massive game tonight and I think him and his staff were that focused on that, to try and set us up and try and get us a result because we know how important that is.<\/p>\n \u201cI think he set us up well, I thought we looked good on the counter-attack.
