The Good Morning Britain star confirmed the news on social media<\/p>\n

Andrew Pierce has confirmed he is leaving Good Morning Britain<\/a> in a sad statement on social media.<\/p>\n

The GB News host, who often appears in many debates on the ITV<\/a> show, took to X to confirm the news.<\/p>\n

In response to a news report that he might be leaving the programme<\/a>, Andrew wrote, “Not a suggestion. It’s a fact, next week sadly is my last on @gmb,<\/a> but viewers can tune in to see me presenting on @GBNEWS from 9.30am Monday to Thursday.”<\/p>\n

Fans quickly rushed to the comments section to wish the TV star well. One fan wrote, “As long as your podcast with @Kevin_Maguire is continuing.”<\/p>\n

“Why?” another asked while a third added, “I don’t know a lot about politics, but I always thought the pairing of you and Kevin Maguire was entertaining. Good luck in your next role.”<\/p>\n

Someone else commented, “Well, Mr Pierce, even though I don’t agree with anything you say, I do appreciate your different opinions, and want to wish you all the best”<\/p>\n

Another shared, “Will miss you. The banter between you & Maguire has me ranting at the telly most mornings. But shows you, you can have differing opinions yet still be good mates. Good Luck.”<\/p>\n

One fan echoed, “Will miss you, Andrew, on GMB<\/a>, loved the ‘banter’ between you and Kevin. Good luck on GB News.”<\/p>\n

On Wednesday’s GMB, Andrew hinted he was leaving the ITV show when chatting with Susanna Reid<\/a> and Richard Madeley.<\/p>\n

Susanna asked whether Andrew and Kevin engage with the public during their daily lives, leading Andrew to jest that people often “shout at him” regarding Kevin.<\/p>\n

“They all say, ‘Is he as bad in real life as he is on the show?’ I say, ‘Yes, he is actually’,” Andrew joked.<\/p>\n

Susanna went on to suggest that people probably wonder if they’re genuinely mates off-screen despite their heated on-air debates. Both nodded as Kevin chimed in: “You can disagree without being disagreeable all the time. Other people ask why I don’t hit him or how I put up with him.”<\/p>\n

This prompted Richard to enquire about the duration of their partnership on the programme, with Kevin disclosing it had been approximately eight to 10 years.<\/p>\n

“Since the beginning,” Susanna observed. “Not for much longer, sadly,” Andrew went on to say.<\/p>\n
