Use the comment button on the bottom left to have your say <\/p>\n<p>The full-backs also played a big part in Luis Enrique\u2019s system, and Slot\u2019s decision to sign Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez last summer suggested a move towards the same style of play.<\/p>\n<p>If that is indeed the long-term goal for Liverpool, then the midfield will also need a little attention. As luck would have it, though, Slot\u2019s very own version of PSG schemer Vitinha appears to have fallen right into his lap.<\/p>\n<p>Curtis Jones can become a crucial player for Liverpool<\/p>\n<p>Vitinha has gone from being a failure during his time at Wolves to one of the world\u2019s best midfielders with PSG.<\/p>\n<p>The Portugal international was even voted into third place during the 2025 Ballon d\u2019Or, completing a remarkable turnaround in fortunes.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"734\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/GettyImages-2251023274-1024x734.jpg\" alt=\"Curtis Jones on the ball during Liverpool's UEFA Champions League match against Inter Milan at San Siro.\" class=\"wp-image-275048\" \/>Photo by Justin Setterfield\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ MORE: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rousingthekop.com\/2025\/12\/11\/arne-slot-may-have-accidentally-guaranteed-that-harvey-elliott-will-be-back-at-liverpool-in-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arne Slot may have accidentally guaranteed that Harvey Elliott will be back at Liverpool in 2026<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every club across Europe would love to have the 25-year-old in their ranks, but in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rousingthekop.com\/tag\/curtis-jones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Curtis Jones<\/a>, Liverpool have someone who can do exactly what he does without having to spend a penny.<\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/OptaJoe\/status\/1999089395660640381\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">OptaJoe<\/a> noted after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rousingthekop.com\/2025\/12\/10\/liverpool-star-with-14-line-breaking-passes-has-now-become-undeniable-after-inter-milan-triumph\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jones\u2019 excellent performance against Inter Milan<\/a> on Tuesday, the Scouser has now completed 92% of his passes under high-intensity pressure in the Champions League this season.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, only two players have a better success-rate in this aspect than Jones. Use the comment button on the bottom left to have your say <\/p>\n<p>   Jones set for biggest chance ever at Liverpool<\/p>\n<p>Part of the problem for Jones at Liverpool has been getting into the team and then staying there.
