The Queen hosted a festive children\u2019s party on Thursday, with those invited getting to decorate her Christmas tree and meet Santa.This was the 20th year that Camilla has held a Christmas party for children supported by charities she is involved with. This year, children and their families from charities Helen & Douglas House and Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity were welcomed into Clarence House for the event.Camilla looked delighted today as she sat in a sleigh alongside children and with Santa behind her. The sleigh in question is actually a royal heirloom, originally used by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.There were reindeer at the party and “Hello!” magazine reported that Camilla was given toys from Santa for her pet dogs. Images of the event showed the Queen\u2019s equerry, Major Rob Treasure, putting decorations onto the tree with his sword.\u201cThe children will join Her Majesty in decorating the Christmas tree – a festive tradition now in its 20th year \u2013 and enjoy a special visit from Father Christmas and his reindeer,\u201d Buckingham Palace said in a statement.
