The most obvious is the lack of funds the club has regarding PSR.

After around £100million spent in the summer and very little in the way of incoming fees from sales, Leeds are on the edge of their PSR threshold. Managing director Robbie Evans confirmed that after the summer window shut.

So, if we want to bring in players, there’ll have to be a sale made in the first half of 2026. Leeds would need to sanction a permanent exit before the June 30th cut-off for this financial year.

Beyond that, finding the right profiles mid-season is an ask. Leeds looked like they were about to sign Harry Wilson on deadline day. Fast-forward to December, and there’s no chance Fulham sell to a direct rival after a string of stunning goals.

There are, however, options out there who haven’t enjoyed the first half of 25/26. As a result, they could be offered a lifeline by moving to Elland Road.

Read more: Leeds United join race for Chelsea talent in January.

Leeds United’s January transfer policy is likely to hinge on two different factors: how much the club have…

[8814
748,1385,25764,393,4884,1860,2922,142361,142362,16,15
0":"post-627448","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-leeds","8":"tag-britain","9":"tag-daniel-farke","10":"tag-elland-road","11":"tag-england","12":"tag-great-britain","13":"tag-leeds","14":"tag-leeds-united","15":"tag-lufc","16":"tag-the-whites","17":"tag-uk","18":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
