Paul Simon<\/strong> hasn\u2019t played any European shows since 2018, but he\u2019s just announced he\u2019ll be hitting the road around these parts for the \u2018A Quiet Celebration\u2019 tour in 2026.<\/p>\n

The legendary singer will play two nights at London\u2019s Royal Albert Hall venue on May 13 & 14, 2026<\/strong>, which comes alongside UK & Ireland dates in Liverpool<\/a>, Glasgow<\/a>, and Dublin. These follow an extensive run of \u2018A Quiet Celebration\u2019 in North America earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Paul Simon<\/strong> last played London when he headlined BST Hyde Park<\/a> in July 2018, playing a set that featured both his solo material and a few numbers from his beloved Simon & Garfunkel material.<\/p>\n

On a post about the tour<\/a> to his website, it was confirmed that Simon\u2019s backing band for the shows woud be: Mark Stewart on guitar, Bakithi Kumalo on bass, Steve Gadd on drums, Andy Snitzer on saxophone, Jamey Haddad on percussion, Mick Rossi on piano, Gyan Riley on guitar, Nancy Stagnitta on flute, Caleb Burhans on viola, and Eugene Friesen on cello.<\/p>\n
