\n The fox was rescued from Pure Gym in Worcester earlier this week after being spotted going for a stroll along a roofing rack.\n<\/p>\n
\n Staff at the Vale Wildlife Hospital in Tewkesbury were called to the scene three times. Although they could see him on the first two occasions, it was deemed too dangerous to rescue him. On the third occasion, staff were ‘too quick’, and he was safely brought into care.\n<\/p>\n
\n Taking to Facebook, staff at the wildlife hospital said: “Yes, that’s a fox precariously strolling along a roof rack system.\n<\/p>\n
\n “First called out at 1am on Monday (December 8), after the fox was spotted in the roof of PureGym in Worcester. Unfortunately, when we arrived, he had disappeared; we’d hoped he\u2019d managed to find his way out. But, the following day, we were called again \u2013 he was back in the roof. With help from Fire & Rescue, we could see him but couldn\u2019t safely reach him.\n<\/p>\n
\n “But third time lucky, that night, we got the call we\u2019d been waiting for \u2013 he was spotted on the gym floor. Our rescue team were too quick for him, and he was safely caught, brought back to the hospital, where he is now bedded down and receiving treatment for mange.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The Vale Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre regularly treats more than 8,000 animals each year, many of whom come Worcestershire.\n<\/p>\n
\n The centre was first established in Cropthorne, near Evesham, more than 40 years ago.\n<\/p>\n
