After talks with Arne Slot<\/a>, Mohamed Salah<\/a> is named on the bench for the visit of Brighton<\/a>, in what is the Egyptian\u2019s final match before AFCON.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There was plenty of will he or won\u2019t he be involved when it came to Salah after his exclusion in midweek, but talks have resulted in a place in the squad.<\/p>\n

With injuries and suspension to consider, Slot has seen his options depleted across each department and has made two changes for Saturday\u2019s 3pm kickoff. <\/p>\n

Alisson<\/a><\/strong>, for the fifth game in a row, starts in goal behind a back four with one change from midweek.<\/p>\n

Milos Kerkez<\/a><\/strong> replaces Andy Robertson<\/a>, Joe Gomez<\/a><\/strong> is retained for the suspended Conor Bradley<\/a> and starts alongside Virgil van Dijk<\/a><\/strong> and Ibrahima Konate<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Ryan Gravenberch<\/a><\/strong>, Curtis Jones<\/a><\/strong> and Alexis Mac Allister<\/a><\/strong> all start for the second game in a row.<\/p>\n

Florian Wirtz<\/a><\/strong>, meanwhile, returns to the XI after a cameo last time out, with Dominik Szoboszlai<\/a><\/strong> and Hugo Ekitike<\/a><\/strong> retained. <\/p>\n

Liverpool\u2019s injuries mean there are two goalkeepers and two academy players on the bench, though there is, at least, options to inject into the attack.<\/p>\n

Federico Chiesa<\/a> has recovered from his midweek illness and Alexander Isak<\/a> is fit enough for the bench, while Salah is an option should Slot look to turn to him in the latter stages.<\/p>\n

James Milner<\/a>, meanwhile, is back at Anfield but starts as a substitute for Brighton<\/a>. <\/p>\n
