As the England squad prepared to fly from Brisbane to Adelaide ahead of the third Test, cameras were present to film the team\u2019s departure. However, what should have been a routine media exercise turned tense when a member of England\u2019s security staff aggressively confronted a Channel 7 cameraman.<\/p>\n

Channel 7 issues statement<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despite the heated exchange, England players appeared unbothered and continued to walk with their earphones on. The channel whose cameraman was involved in the incident issued a statement, confirming that the confrontation took place at the airport. They have vowed to raise the matter through appropriate channels.<\/p>\n

\u201cEarlier today, there was an incident at Brisbane Airport involving a 7NEWS camera operator and a member of the England Cricket team\u2019s travelling party. While conducting routine filming in a public space, the camera operator was physically confronted despite acting respectfully and professionally,\u201d Seven Network said in a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe safety and wellbeing of our staff is paramount. This matter is being taken seriously and is now being managed through the appropriate channels,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n
