His bike was found at the Ramparts the following day, November 20.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Gardai issued a public appeal, saying that both they and Benjamin&#8217;s family were &#8220;concerned for his wellbeing&#8221;. &#8216;Beni&#8217; was described as being about 5ft 1in tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes. A major search operation was launched along the River Boyne following his disappearance.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/595701966_1281479717352120_1593694669855101009_n.jpg\" alt=\"River Boyne\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Meath Civil Defence carried out a search operation along the River Boyne<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">In a heartbreaking update this evening, gardai confirmed that the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/missing-persons\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" rel=\"follow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\">missing persons<\/a> appeal has been stood down after a body was discovered in Co Meath, the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishmirror.ie\/news\/irish-news\/heartbreak-search-missing-benjamin-spot-36397331\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" rel=\"follow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\">Irish Mirror<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A spokesperson told the outlet: &#8220;Following the discovery of a body in Co Meath earlier today, our appeal in respect of 14-year-old Benjamin Spot who was reported missing in Navan, Co Meath on Wednesday, 19th November 2025, has been stood down. An Garda S\u00edoch\u00e1na would like to the thank media for their assistance.
