Prime Minister<\/a> was joined by three guests, Allison Pearson, Graham Linehan, and Lucy Connelly.<\/p>\nLucy Connolly, from Northampton, was sentenced in October 2024 to two and a half years behind bars after admitting to inciting racial hatred. <\/p>\n
Following the Southport stabbings, Connolly had encountered false information that the suspect was a Muslim asylum seeker who had come to the UK by small-boat.<\/p>\n
In her now deleted X post, she called for mass deportations and to set fire to hotels housing immigrants. She added: \u201cIf that makes me racist, so be it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Truss said she had discussed Connolly\u2019s case with far-right activist Charlie Kirk when he was still alive, and that it \u201cbrought to life just how bad it is\u201d. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt does feel like we\u2019re living in East Germany\u201d, she added. \u201cLaws have been passed which are now being used against ordinary citizens expressing perfectly normal views online. <\/p>\n
\u201cWhether it\u2019s the public order act, whether it\u2019s the electronic communications act, a whole series of pieces of legislation effectively limited our liberty.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inspiration for Truss has come from America where she has spent time meeting with the Maga movement since losing her seat in parliament at the last general election.<\/p>\n
Truss has now taken to Youtube making claims that the mainstream media \u201clies\u201d and that the country has been captured by \u201cwokeness\u201d.<\/p>\n
Truss claimed: \u201cThe police and the judiciary, once bastions of the traditionalist establishment, were captured by the woke left. The trans ideologues, the Islamists, and the neo-Marxists, now hold sway at senior levels.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou now only get promoted as a police officer or a judge or a prosecutor if you spout DEI clap trap on woke nostrums.\u201d <\/p>\n
The former Prime Minister added that it was people with \u201ctraditional British political views\u201d who were being arrested.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re not seeing Zack Polanski is not getting arrested, is he? No. We\u2019re not seeing a Jeremy Corbyn in the slammer, you know, it\u2019s all people of a particular political view\u201d, said Truss. <\/p>\n
Columnist and guest Allison Pearson claimed that the MacPherson report, which was published in 1999 and found that the Met was institutionally racist, meant that the Met went \u201cinto overdrive about racism\u201d.<\/p>\n
She added that the College of Policing was a \u201cnest of the wokest values you could possibly imagine. Every constable is a child of the MacPherson report. They are steeped in anti-racism, critical race theory.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Casey Review, published in 2023, found that the Met was guilty of institutional racism, misogyny and homophobia.<\/p>\n
Pearson was placed under investigation last year for posting an image of two people of colour holding the flag of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, a Pakistani political party founded by Imran Khan, alongside police officers from Greater Manchester police. <\/p>\n
Having allegedly confused the flag with that of Hamas, and the identity of the police force, Pearson wrote a post targeting the Metropolitan police, which read: \u201cHow dare they. Invited to pose for a photo with lovely peaceful British Friends of Israel on Saturday police refused. Look at this lot smiling with the Jew haters.\u201d <\/p>\n
