Four people have been hurt, three of them seriously, after a two-car crash on a Midland A-road.<\/p>\n

The crash involved a black BYD Dolphin electric car and a silver Volkswagen Passat at the junction with the A451 Stourbridge<\/a> Road and Rocky Lane, between Stourbridge and Kidderminster<\/a> shortly before 4pm on Friday (December 12).<\/p>\n

The BYD Dolphin was said to have been turning from Rocky Lane onto Stourbridge Road , while the VW Passat was going from Stourbridge Road into Rocky Lane when the crash occurred.<\/p>\n

Four people were taken to hospital with injuries following the crash.<\/p>\n

These were the driver and two passengers in the VW and a passenger in the BYD Dolphin.<\/p>\n

Three people had injuries that were said to be \u2018serious\u2019 but were not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing and one person had \u2018minor injuries\u2019.<\/p>\n

The crash lead to the road being blocked for four hours before reopening around 8pm.<\/p>\n

West Mercia Police<\/a> is now appealing for any witnesses to the crash to come forward.<\/p>\n

Inspector Darren Godsall said: \u201cA number of people were injured in this collision.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe would urge anyone who witnessed it, who may have seen either car beforehand or who may have dashcam footage to assist with our enquiries to please get in touch.\u201d<\/p>\n
