Sheffield Wednesday are hoping Barry Bannan will be fit to face Derby County<\/a> tomorrow night.<\/p>\n Bannan picked up an injury in the draw at Watford in midweek, but the Sheffield Star reports that he could recover in time to face his former club at Hillsborough.<\/a><\/p>\n The Scotland international has been a regular fixture for Wednesday this season having played all but 18 minutes of the campaign.<\/a><\/p>\n Sean Fusire came on to replace him at Vicarage Road and Wednesday have been boosted by the news that Zimbabwe will allow him to stay to face the Rams.<\/a><\/p>\n Fusire was due to jet out to join his international teammates for the AFCON tournament, which starts later this month.<\/p>\n But Wednesday appealed to keep Fusire for the game against Derby, even though FIFA rules state clubs must allow AFCON players to depart no later than December 15.<\/p>\n However, the Zimbabwe Football Federation have granted Wednesday’s request, meaning he will be available to face Derby before jetting out to join the Zimbabwe squad.<\/p>\n That was not the case with Yan Valery, however, after Tunisia rejected a similar request.<\/p>\n The Star also claims that the demands of Wednesday’s recent fixtures have prompted the club’s medical staff to advise that up to five senior players could be limited as to how many minutes they can play tomorrow night.<\/p>\n It comes after latest signing Nathan Redmond picked up an injury and he is facing time on the sidelines that is expected to last the remainder of his short-term contract.<\/p>\n What do you think the score will be tomorrow night?
