The public have been urged to call 999 for immediate sightings of Caitlin who has links to Birmingham but hails from Burnley\"ACaitlin, 15, who has links to Birmingham, has been missing for four days and police are ‘really concerned for her welfare’ and are asking the public’s help to find her<\/p>\n

An urgent appeal to find a missing schoolgirl with links to Birmingham<\/a> has been launched by police.<\/p>\n

Caitlin has been missing since Wednesday (December 10) and police are \u2018really concerned\u2019 for her well-being.<\/p>\n

The 15-year-old hails from Burnley in Lancashire and was last seen in the Church Street area of the town shortly after 4.30pm.<\/p>\n

Caitlin has links to Birmingham, Bury, Bolton, Oldham and Manchester City centre and the appeal to find her has been shared by West Midlands Police<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She is known to ask strangers if she can borrow their phone when making contact with her friends.<\/p>\n

The Burnley and Padiham Police team at Lancashire Police has issued an appeal asking for the public\u2019s help to find the teen.<\/p>\n

\"ACaitlin, 15, who has links to Birmingham, has been missing for four days and police are ‘really concerned for her welfare’ and are asking the public’s help to find her<\/p>\n

In issuing the appeal, a spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: \u201cThe girl pictured is 15-year-old Caitlin, she is missing and we urgently need your help to find her.<\/p>\n

\u201cCaitlin was last seen in the Church Street area of Burnley at 4.43pm on Wednesday but has not been seen since.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are really concerned for Caitlin\u2019s welfare and we have been carrying out lots of enquiries to find her. And now we are at the point of asking for your help in finding her.<\/p>\n

\u201cCaitlin is 5ft 10, with black hair, which she usually wears in a ponytail and has a few freckles on her face.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was last seen wearing a brown short length puffer jacket, a black corset style top, grey jeans, and brown new balance trainers. She was carrying a Marc Jacobs bag.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement continued: Caitlin has links to Birmingham, Bury, Bolton, Oldham and Manchester City centre and we know that she asks strangers if she can borrow their phone when making contact with her friends.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe would also appeal to Caitlin directly, if she sees this, to please contact the police and let us know that you are OK.<\/p>\n
