Merseyside Police has asked for a member of the public who spoke to Laura Hurst to come forward\"MissingMissing Laura Hurst (Image: Merseyside Police)<\/p>\n

Police investigating a missing woman have found a new clue about the direction of where she went. Merseyside Police said Laura Hurst, 30, was last seen on Tuesday, December 9 and enquiries are ongoing to find her.<\/p>\n

Merseyside Police investigators<\/a> previously said she was last seen at 9.30pm leaving her home address on Park Road South, Prenton<\/a>, wearing a black knee length coat or burgundy North Face jacket, with a washed out black cap.<\/p>\n

But officers have now released new CCTV images which show missing Laura<\/a> at Liverpool Central train station<\/a> at around 10pm on the same day in conversation with a member of the public.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson said: “We urgently want to speak with this man in case he has any information that could assist in our ongoing search for Laura.<\/p>\n

“From viewing CCTV, we believe Laura may have asked him for directions before she walks towards Renshaw Street<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“If you know who this man is or recognise yourself in this image, please let us know. We would like to stress that this man has done nothing wrong and we only want to speak to him in case he has any useful information that could help us find Laura.<\/p>\n

“If you see Laura or have any information on her whereabouts, then come forward and call 999 so we can make sure she\u2019s safe.”<\/p>\n

Police <\/a>have described Laura as white, 5ft 7in, of medium build, with washed out red short shoulder length hair.<\/p>\n

She is understood to frequent Liverpool city centre<\/a>, Birkenhead, New Brighton, and Rock Ferry.<\/a><\/p>\n

The force previously said it was becoming increasingly concerned for the missing woman. It has now been five days since she was last seen.<\/p>\n
