Brits face dangerous flooding and huge downpours on Monday as up to 100mm of rain<\/a> is expected to fall in parts of the UK.<\/p>\n The Met Office<\/a> has issued amber and yellow rain warnings for the south of Wales<\/a> as well as the south west, north west and north east of England<\/a>.<\/p>\n The deluge will last throughout Monday and could cause power cuts, flooded roads and challenging driving conditions.<\/p>\n The Environment Agency has also issued four flood warnings for the RIver Cocker, River Ehen, River Rothay and Keswick Campsite.<\/p>\n An amber warning urges Brits to take care on the roads with \u2018danger to life\u2019 flooding expected in Cumbria and Wales.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tSign up for all of the latest stories\t\t\t<\/p>\n Start your day informed with Metro’s News Updates<\/a><\/strong> newsletter or get Breaking News<\/a> <\/strong>alerts the moment it happens. <\/p>\n The amber warning for rain across northwest England has been updated to have an earlier end time of 4am Monday morning.
