Police<\/a> said number of people suffered injuries and were taken to hospital, but it is not thought that anyone suffered life-threatening or life-changing injuries.<\/p>\nIn a statement, the force added that a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm without intent, criminal damage, and assault by beating of an emergency worker.<\/p>\n
The man has since been released on conditional bail.<\/p>\n
Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information to get in contact with the force.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: \u201cAt 9.31pm on Saturday 13 December, we were called to reports of a fight on Bordeaux Quay in Bristol city centre.<\/p>\n
\u201cOfficers attended and found a number of people had sustained injuries. While none of these were life-threatening or life-changing, several people were taken to hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n
\u201cA man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent, criminal damage and assault by beating of an emergency worker. The man was later released on conditional police bail.<\/p>\n

A statement from Coyote Ugly said: “We\u2019re aware of an incident at Coyote Ugly Bristol on Saturday 13th of December.<\/p>\n
“The situation was dealt with promptly by venue staff. Police attended and are now handling the matter.<\/p>\n
“The safety of our guests and staff is our priority. Coyote Ugly operates a zero-tolerance policy towards violence or abusive behaviour.<\/p>\n
