Police have issued an appeal for the public’s help<\/p>\n

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after a car hit a garden wall early today, Monday.<\/p>\n

The man, who police said is aged in his 80s, is believed to have suffered a suspected medical episode at the wheel ahead of the crash, Greater Manchester Police<\/a> added.<\/p>\n

He’s said by the force to remain in hospital ‘in a life-threatening condition’. There have been no reports of any other injuries. Emergency services were called to Moss Lane in the Timperley area of Trafford at around 9.30am on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

Investigating officers have now issued an appeal for anyone with information or video footage to come forward. The man hasn’t been named.<\/p>\n

In a statement, GMP said: “Officers are appealing for information after a man sustained serious injuries in a collision in Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“At around 9.30am this morning (15 December), officers and emergency services attended reports of a car colliding with a garden wall and coming to rest after hitting an address on Moss Lane in the Timperley area.<\/p>\n

“The driver, a man in his 80s, is believed to have suffered a suspected medical episode and remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition. As officers progress their investigation, they are asking for anyone with information regarding the incident to please come forward.<\/p>\n

“This includes anyone with doorbell, dashcam, or CCTV footage from around the area at the time. You can contact police via Live Chat or 101, quoting log 816 of 15\/12\/25. Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”<\/p>\n
