Funded by the UK Government through the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/uk-shared-prosperity-fund-prospectus\/uk-shared-prosperity-fund-prospectus\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/uk-shared-prosperity-fund-prospectus\/uk-shared-prosperity-fund-prospectus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UK Shared Prosperity Fund<\/a><\/strong>, these five-day bootcamps will take place in the new year and focus on priority skills identified by VisitEngland and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media &amp; Sport (DCMS).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bootcamp 1 \u2013 Entering the Tourism &amp; Hospitality Sector<\/strong><br \/>This bootcamp is designed for residents currently not in employment or education, preparing participants for a career in tourism and hospitality. Key topics include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Customer service<\/li>\n<li>Workplace skills and behaviours<\/li>\n<li>Employability and job readiness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Businesses interested in getting involved, whether by sharing expertise, hosting training spaces, or offering guaranteed interviews, can contact <strong><a>employerservices@solihull.ac.uk<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bootcamp 2 \u2013 Upskilling for Supervisory &amp; Management Roles<\/strong><br \/>Targeted at visitor economy organisations, this bootcamp helps staff develop skills for supervisory or management roles. Topics covered include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Service excellence<\/li>\n<li>Team management and communication<\/li>\n<li>Working with volunteers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Employers are invited to help shape the structure of these bootcamps to suit their organisational needs.
