Elvis Palla sadly died at a property in Watson Crescent, Gorgie, on December 13.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Emergency services quickly attended and Elvis, 34, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A man has since been arrested and charged in connection with the death and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Christos Nikiforidis, 34, made no plea and was remanded in custody for consideration of bail. He is due to appear again at the same court on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Cops reassured locals there is no risk to the public following the incident. Police remain on the scene while the investigation into the death takes place.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A statement from Police Scotland reads: &#8220;The 34-year-old man who died at a property in Watson Crescent, Edinburgh on Saturday, 13 December, 2025 can be named as Elvis Palla.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the death and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, 15 December, 2025.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Emergency services quickly attended and Elvis, 34, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
